The colours are great Thomas.
You often present images from outside your window - do you live over a river or something?!

Thanks Yes, i live on the banks of the river Greta which flows into Derwentwater lake. Guess im quite lucky with the views and all but the noise of the river is a bit much sometimes!

Nice series Thomas - looks like some cold water and nice detail on the whitecaps.

Nice shots Thomas! I like the contrast of the bright man-made colors against the natural surroundings.

Hey, great shots! Speaking of shots - I have hunted ducks before. For these fine feathered fledglings I'd recommend a 12 gauge loaded with 3" magnums of #5 shot and don't forget to lead them a bit before squeezing the trigger, they are moving quicker than you think.

Hi Tom, very nice "duck" photos but it must be just a little on the cool side this time of year? But of course from inside the bedroom it wouldn't matter much. :-)

Take care, Heinrich

Hi Thomas,
Mate!! you have captured a rare species here....the "Yellow Paddled Blue Beak" duck, extremely rare. Congratulations!
Personally I like the Orange Beaked ones.....roasted, basted in Grand Mariner.....delicious! ...but gotta cook 'em well.

Heehee, thanks mate! I hear what your saying, roast duck is mighty fine. These ones are a bit plasticy though

Thanks Heinrich. Surprisingly its actually quite mild at the moment for January, really wish we would have a decent snowfall.
