Enjoy Memorial Day
Lens: 18-250 Camera: K5 Photo Location: Saugus Ma.

On a serious note take time to remember those who are not among us anymore and to those who have given the ultimate sacrifice. That being said break out the good stuff and the Red Solo cups and enjoy this Memorial Day holiday here in the states. This is a rare picture of myself and by looking at it I can see why it is rare.--charliezap

quite a fine wine that you are willing to share. Have a great weekend and keep that feeder full.

Already today, a ways below Lake Tahoe: Heavy hail and thunderbursts. Tonight and tomorrow: lots of snow in the forecast. A couple days ago, was around 90f here at 3500ft. Early next week, ditto. But this will be a cold weekend. Go figure.

Not much of a wine drinker, but I do like my beer. I'll be knocking back a couple of Sam Adams Alpine Lagers in honor of our true heroes.

This reply by RioRico has me a little bemused trying to connect it to my posting.Maybe I had too many red solo cups.--charliezap

It means that outdoor BBQ, and pool-partying / skinny-dipping, and cold beer or root-beer floats, and such are not on the agenda. That this Memorial Day weekend will be a cold dark time, rather than the usual sunburn season. That we'll skip the usual parades etc. That's all.

Thanks for the clarification.Sometimes my perception gets a little addled and my realization gets somewhat convoluted.Being a senior citizen will do that at times.Have yourself a safe holiday weekend.--charliezap

I even have some blue solo cups but for some reason the wine just doesn't taste the same.--charliezap

The only thing wrong I see with your picture is the ball cap. Looks like your Bosux and my Yankees are trying to see which team wants to occupy the AL east cellar.
