Let's Go Fishing?
Camera: Fuji X10 Photo Location: Texas ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/350s Aperture: F3.5

I saw these down by the lake, but only had the little X10 with me, so had to use the Digital Zoom and then do heavy crops ...on the crops.
Otis says they are not fit to view, except on my new Website he is building for me....he is calling it "The Crummy Photographer" , and claims he has gone through my work and already has enough crummy shots to overload the site.

Anyhow, this is what I saw...and heard.....down at the lake....

"You guys told me I needed a fishing pole to catch fish....so I got me one!"

"Good catch Blackie! What do we do now?....Fish Fry?"

Just more Saturday morning nonsense, according to Otis.

Regards!

I had to laugh when I read your text with this one because I was just looking at this photo which actually proves that birds can fish given the right equipment.

Love it Susan! These animals are a lot smarter than we think! I do think it was a good idea for me to skip the "Fish Fry"....you think?

Around here the fishing poles are the dumb humans. You can't set foot on a beach or on a dock with a pole and not have a crowd of sea birds waiting to see if you'll share. They're pretty bold about it too. Some of them will actually attempt to steal your catch right out of the bucket if you don't have a cover on it. As for the vultures they're a regular thing on the roads here. I always see them circling in the sky. We must have a lot of roadkill around here...
