Not sure I would have included "Red-winged Black bird" in the title - it adds tremendously to the picture, but I had different expectations when I opened the post.
But the image is really good. REALLY good.

I tried changing the title ... too late!

I agree: the title is misleading ... should have just left the bird out of the picture (title), so to speak.

I am glad you thought about this being "artistic" because ... that is what I am trying to do with nature pics.

I have quite an assortment of clean, sharp, closeup photos of birds but I am always trying to include the environment/habitat.
Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't ... but it's fun trying.
