Just how much can a Koala Bear
Lens: Pentax A 135 f2.8 Camera: K5 Photo Location: Sydney Toronga Zoo ISO: 1000 Shutter Speed: 1/125s Aperture: F8
Posted By: Bruce, 05-27-2012, 02:32 AM

Have been meaning to post these up for a while. First real try with the A 135 and the Zoo is a great place to get a few shots in a short space of time of a large number of cute (and not so cute) critters. Had a high percentage of 'keepers' with this lens, just had to get the manual focus right (and the monopod helped a tad).

He's awake. That in itself is amazing.

All enjoyable and fun shots to view Bruce, they really don't get too excited do they.

Cool shots, but this creature is actually the Drop bear, closely related to the Koala and visually almost indestinguishable... that is until he opens his mouth with huge fangs and bloodthirsty temperament.

Beware the dropbear!

Thanks for the comments.

Fruitloops, just love that Drop Bear! It is hard to get a shot of one that is not tearing out the neck of an unsuspecting American tourist!
