Carolina Coast

Not much time for photography on my recent trip to the coast, but got in a few random snaps with the K50/1.2 attached. The pelican probably at f/8; the others at f/1.2.

Jeff, took me a little bit to figure out what #1 was, finally it clicked. I love photos like this, that draw you in. Then after all of that I see you wrote what it is. Nice job.

Thanks for taking the time to figure it out! Maybe I should just leave the titles off. These jellyfish are very common around here, but I think much rarer in the Pacific, so I'm not surprised you haven't seen one.

Thanks Christo! It's not much of a subject, but I was having fun playing with the ultra-wide aperture.

Hopefully you didn't get caught in any of the nasty weather the coast has had. Those jellies always amaze me. Some days the beaches can be littered with them and some days you don't see any.
