Thanks Jean it was fate the porc-epic was on the road in full view , I stopped, got out of the car and he ran for the bushes - was lucky to get that shot.

Thanks Jim there is so much to see there for sure - watch for another post of Wapta falls - a place I have always wanted to visit and Karen and I finally did

Gorgeous, I need to make it up there again soon. A great place to be a photographer. Low hanging fruit everywhere!

Thanks GeoJerry - that is an accurate description , even from the highway you could stop every 100 meters/yards and shoot beauty.

Really like the second shot Dave. That is about as close to a porcupine pic that most of us would get.

Thanks Susan - he was in the middle of the road - and me with the camera in the back seat - very cautious soon as I stopped he scattered off should have snapped a few through the window.

Beautiful shots Dave...excellent shooting! Gorgeous scenery......you enjoyed such beauty this weekend.....and all I got was to look out my windows and see a bunch of damn Squirrels! ....not that they aren't handsome...but it's just not the same!

Thanks Rupert, it was a good weekend. Lots of driving I figured we did about 1200km (745 miles) over 3 days . I have seen some Damn Raccoons there as well from you
