a Sandstone Sunset
Lens: 70mm Camera: K5 Photo Location: Church Rock, NM

photo taken in New Mexico while camping on Navajo Nation land. We had wind gusts up to 60mph that day, the motorhome and jeep are both covered in and out with fine sand. No charge for the sand though.

I wouldn't want to go clubbing with him Bob.He seems like the type that would get you into trouble through no fault of your own.--charliezap

I started the car and got about about a cup of sand that blew out of the vents, erosion is right Dave.

That's so funny Charlie, I had a buddy in high school like that. I ended up getting in several fights because of what he started and he always ended up watching and critiquing afterwards. Good Times.

Nice colors Bob. One thing about the west, you don't have to go to the beach because it comes to you.

Too funny Susan, it was as bad as when we were in Monument Valley, except the sand here isn't as red.

The focus seems to be targeting the trees and not the sandstone hills, but it is nicely composed and the colours really work well!

Yes, I can see what you mean, it is a handheld shot in high winds so It looks like i missed it. I will blame it on the wind Thanks for taking a look, always appreciated. Bob
