Tiny wildflowers have started to bloom in the woods!



















this flower is so hard to photograph...

Well done Tess - I like #1 and then #2 to give a sense of scale.

Those bunchberry flowers are beautiful. I agree that the bellflower (?) is hard to photograph. I have one I kept but just on general principles but you did a great job.

Thanks so much everyone. I have been having a great time the last two mornings crawling around on the forest floor with my camera.

Susan... I think it is a Trout Lily, but will look it up. I went out this morning with the K5 and the Pentax 35mm, 2.4 (not the macro, the cheaper 200 dollar version) and got some amazing shots I want to share later after I cut the grass and get some other chores done... But, here is one of the Trout Lily ... I couldn't get as good a shot with the Tamron yesterday:

Thank you CeeCee! I have really been enjoying the K-5.... between chores and shooting I have had little time to comment on other people's photos. I am looking forward to that next!
