Some wild crocus
Lens: DFA 2.8 100 mm macro and 55-300 Camera: K 5 Photo Location: Alberta, Canada

Found these around the campsite in Banff, they were on their last leg and the following day just a sad reminder of their former beauty

They are so 3D life-like Heinrich ,just seems to pop onto my monitor.You always seem to find these road side treasure TFS

Heinrich, I have enjoyed these images very much! The flowers are so sharp and textured and the colours perfect. I love the last one with the ant. My crocuses came up early due to unusual weather in March and then they quickly perished in the snow, so I missed their ephemeral beauty. Thank you for posting.
