Elk around Banff

We were in that campground last year Heinrich and managed to follow a huge bull around. The rangers finally had to force him out. It was the rut and he was giving the campers something to worry about. Magnificent animals though.

Nice shots Heinrch we did not see any elk - few deer by the fence on the highway, one mountain sheep and a porcupine never got a good shot of any of them,

Thank you Susan, we didn't see any bulls and only a few cows in the campground, I think the rangers tried to keep them out but there were quite a few just outside and behind the trailer court.

that's pretty good Heinrich, your camping fees cover a RV spot, utilities, beautiful views of the mountains, meadows and now you show us wildlife. It doesn't get any better does it. Nice shots here too. Bob

Thank you Bob and yes that is another way of looking at it At today's prices for camp sites they ought to throw some goodies in.
