Leaf.
Lens: Sigma 30mm/f1.4 Camera: Pentax K-5 Photo Location: Driveway

Just quickly playing with a new toy, you've all seen pics from it before, by another member here, I hope I can produce some pics of the same quality in time. Its a nice piece of glass.

Thanks Dave, Its strange to have such DoF in such a Focal length for me, This is going to get a lot os use i feel.

the depth of field is spot on and interesting, especially in the second shot. Very cool lens and results!

Thanks Tess, It is a fun lens, and the shallow Dof is just as fun to work with as my 85/1.4, but, the greater angle of view is a new thing to control at this focal length, because at 30mm you get alot of background area in shots, to do something like the 2nd shot, the area I took it in was very large and open, and the leaf was very close, to do the same isolation with longer lenses is easier, its really bad weather here at the moment, so can't get out to do more, hopefully it will be a bit better here tomorrow.
