Taken with my Helios-77M f1.8 shutter 1/160 ISO 100.
I love this lens, my only problem is I'm so SLOW at focusing!

the eyes here a lovely and sharp - but i would love to see the exposure dialled back just a little as it seems a bit over the top on the right hand side of the photo

Thanks for your input milesy - I used 2 off camera flashes (which I normally used with my Tamron 2.8) and this is the first time I've used them with this lens at 1.8 so I think next time I'll just turn down the flash power a smidge as I really like using the helios @ 1.8. It was a bit darker SOOC, so I also adjusted the curves in photoshop (I lightened the highlights - perhaps a little too much!)

beautiful shot, I think slight overexposure & loss of detail just brings my attention back to those wonderful eyes.
