Some Grebes
Lens: A* 600mm f5.6 Camera: K-7 Photo Location: Utah

These birds are quick to dive under water when the lens points at them but the mother(I assume) didn't have that luxury in this case.

Beautiful set, and hard to pick a favorite. #1 has the best pose and lighting on the birds. I like the patterns on the water in #2 and #4. And #5 has lovely subtle coloration and an interesting pose.

Just beautiful. Love the reflections in the first. Have never seen the Grebe carrying young on her back so that made this double special. Thanks for sharing.
