Vignette certainly fits the round subject well -- fun image! Kind of lomo for a K-5 + 70ltd, though.

Had to laugh when I saw this one as my husband can't pass one of those photogenic (and some not so photogenic) windmills. He must have hundreds of them. Good job on the in-camera processing.

Love the vignetting and the colour of the sky is amazing! Was the windmill turning? I get the sense it was.... Lovely composition too.

Susan, I thought these were relics but I read they are still being produced and used on a lot of remote areas. They are cool looking, especially some of the real old ones.

thanks Tess, yes this is a operating windmill and there was water being pulled out for the range cattle.

thank you Lori, I think the processing worked out better than than the original shot I took. The filters are fun to use and often make a poor photo look better. Bob
