Hey I live just down the road come on over (actually my Dad lives just down the road) - proof that while Alberta has some of the most beautiful mountain scenery it is a prairie province.

Well one could describe Alberta as being a prairie extension of Saskatchewan on the east and of the mountainous British Columbia on the west, but that would neglect all of its charming features like... the tar sands?

An acurrate description Marc , the tar sands employs thousands and produces millions of dollars in revenue to both the provincial and federal coffers. While I don't agree with everyhting done up there , I do realize there are way more pro's than cons

What an expansive view - and I like the PP, which makes the pic feel as if it were taken decades ago. Nice job, buddy.

Neat shot! Looks like much of Texas except for the trees. Long straight roads.....sometimes 40-50 miles without even a slight curve.
Regards!
