With all the hubbub about Venus our poor companion went unnoticed yesterday. She sure was pretty though...

I'm amazed you pulled this off with a 300mm lens. I'm assuming this is a significantly cropped image, but even so it is impressive.

Thanks.

300mm with a Vivitar 2X teleconverter, so it was 600mm EFL. I forgot to add the TC to the description. And, it is a 50% crop of the original image.

Thanks. That clarifies my confusion as I've seen a number of other moon shots that were in general taken with 600mm or more of lens, and had images about the size of yours.
