Hi

Ah, pigs trotters, they don't look much on a plate but when prepared properly the meat is very tender and very tasty.

The best trotters I ever tasted where those from the Chinese city of "Wuzhen" in the Zhejiang Province north of the city of Tongxiang. The pigs trotters there are cooked in a unique way and are a well known specialty.

With all these trotters on sale there I had this visions of a lot of pigs sitting in wheel chairs to get around.

Bon Appetit

I know what kind of things pigs walk in and there is no way I am eating them. No wonder you lost 20 lbs. All those pounds you lose just float around in the air until someone else picks them up (usually on the hips.)

Schraubstock- Those look delicious! Mine are smoked over hickory hardwood......and have a nice "earthy" taste!

Susan......Sending my 20 lbs your way......watch out!

Guys, I forgot to add, these are most likely not Kosher...but they sure are tasty!

Regards!

I think I would of had one of those Texas Rib Eyes instead of a pigs foot. You lost the 20, I gained it, probably due to those rib eyes.

Is that how you get foot in mouth disease? Fun shots, for sure.

Brilliant Rupert. I never thought to smoke pig feet. Perhaps this Sunday. What's in your rub?

any meal plan that has the word "Die" in it isn't right.... so no DIEt anything for me...
nice snaps though...
quick question... If you smash an animal over the head and put it in a coma, before butchering it... does it count as a "vegetable"? I say yes.
