My first astro-photo
Posted By: SouthernCross, 01-21-2008, 04:09 AM

M42 - The Great Orion Nebula
22x30sec, ISO800, 3000x2000 RAW aRGB images taken with K100D attached to 8" f5 Newtonian. Stacked and minimally processed with Iris astro imaging software.
This was my very first attempt at astro-imaging with my K100D. I think I nailed it, lucky!
Cheers,
Steve

Beautiful image Southern Cross. Gotta like it when the spotting scope has it's own spotting scope.

It would be great if you had the time to write a little tutorial on this shot. Software used, adapters, setup etc.
