Wild Rose Bud
Posted By: tessfully, 06-07-2012, 10:05 AM

I took this shot with a very high ISO and wondered if some might like the effect. This was my favourite of the bunch even though I had others at ISO 100 and 400 and f/5.6 and f/8. thank you for looking !

Already liked this.

Composition is spot on and the hint of noise in no way detracts from the pleasing background. Adds a little texture if anything.

Well, I like it but I usually like your shots Tess. They are always interesting and bring something special to the table. Keep experimenting (like you wouldn't anyway.)

I haven't read other replies so mine will probably be redundant, but . . . . I truly dig the contrast between the especially rich green and the equally rich red. I very nice job, as always, tess.

Very nice image Tess! Good detail and beautiful colors. Being that it is your equipment, you may take pictures however you choose. If my memory is correct, virtually every comment from Vasyl leans to the negative/questionable side. Being that you have been here longer than I, I'm sure you are aware of this.

The composition excellent, color is excellent, black blacks to white whites, focus, DOF and detail is excellent. The buds really pop and have a nice 3d effect, the background is soft and pleasant. I like the iridescence and texture of the petals. Whats not to like! Thanks for sharing.

Still have trouble getting my head around what one can do with ISO, still have a 400 is really fast mindset.
