Day trip
Camera: K-5,K20D Photo Location: Algonquin Park, Ontario Canada

A few shots form our time in the park, today. We had to stop in at Lake of Two Rivers. We saw a moose on the way there.

I spent some time walking on the beach.

We saw another moose on the way home.

Oops rain is coming.

It's arrived.

Sure, with 2 k-5's in the house it might increase my chances of getting to use one.

With the thunderheads the scenery was dramatic. Every day in the Park is different.

That one is actually taken from the observation deck at the visitor's centre, not much of a walk at all. There are of course some fantastic walks, some with more than 1000 feet of vertical to them. It was really funny at the visitors center yesterday. I should have taken a picture. We got there about a half hour before closing, and the center has free wi-fi, so there must have been 5 or 6 campers from the park who drove to the centre and were avidly engaged with their digital devices and email.
