You know you have photography issues when you start taking your camera to a bar.

Jerry , I can Vouch for this , you have no issues , it's Normal I take my camera to a Bar all the time. Infact I took it to to a Bistro/ Bar with the Missus Tonight and sat it in on the table whilst we were having a Couple of glasses of Shiraz.

Nice Shots by the way , I really like the first one ,you've captured the ambience quite nicely . what is it ?, chandelier ( lights ) ?

No - you only have issues if you take the camera to the bar and consider it your date, or if you spend more time taking photos than talking to the person you are with. Was the second shot also at ISO 200? I'm surprised to you didn't bump up a little so you could shoot a little faster.

As long as you don't by it a drink you are all right. Mine prefers beer anyway. Like the second shot by the way.

Thanks for the feedback. I guess it shows that I'm not the only one with a problem, and also that we have enough to form the first chapter of Photographers Anonymous. :-)

Yes, it's a chandelier in the lobby area. For this one I used the K-7's in-camera softness filter.

Good eye! I was just going to post the first and filled out the EXIF info accordingly, but then threw in the second without changing it. The second one: ISO 800, f/4, 1/50.

BTW, I've seen some people attach a link above their photo which points to EXIF data. I don't know how to do that. Can anyone fill me in?

Like both of these shots, first being close to abstract. Well spotted.

Both great, but I really like whats going on in the first pic, "Is it big? or is it small??" the shot has an odd perspective to it I really like. Nicely done.

Thanks cmohr.... you're right it's hard to tell what you're looking at here. The individual glass pieces are about 2 ft in diameter. The chandelier was about 15 ft or so in length, of which the photo captured about half.

I love bar shots . . . . . er, I mean photos. Both are cool, but the second one is perfect. I say we toast the photographer.
