wonderful shots Susan, brings back a lot of memories. It is such a beautiful place to visit and that mountain loves to hide in the clouds.

Ranier is like Denali, you are lucky to see it. We were lucky with both mountains. The funny thing was, when we first arrived at Ranier, we found we just weren't looking up high enough. With the Smoky's you don't have to crane your neck.

It is wonderful to see these beautiful places through the eyes of a photographer! I love the last one most especially. ...mmm.... but the water flowing under the arched bridge is very special to view as well. thanks so much for posting these Susan!

A very nice series. This is the second waterfall in recent days where human construction has not ruined the scene. Very encouraging. Also I like the last with the flowers framing the valley. Well done.

Beautiful shots of one of my favorite places. There is so much to see there, and these capture a sense of exploration with a personal perspective.

Thanks for the kind comments everyone. We have put Washington and Oregon on our bucket list again. Everytime we go we want to go back. At least our bucket list never gets empty.

All three are nice, Susan. I especially enjoy the third one with the bright colors in foreground contrasting with the green and gray of the hills and sky.

Gorgeous, Susan! 1 and 3 are really so superb! I love how the waterfall is framed by that arch!! And those beautiful flowers in #3 add such a nice splash of color to that already lovely view!
