After taking the Boxster for a mid-afternoon spin, we were reminded - for the umpteenth time - why people don't drive convertibles (top down) in the afternoon in South Texas in the summer

. After returning home (and recovering with a cold one), I decided to take the Porsche's new stablemate, my little Bimmer 135i, over to the local college for some photography in the late afternoon sun. On a whim, I grabbed my DA 10-17FE and, after I finished the "serious" stuff with my effete, elitist DA Limiteds

, I played with the FE and had a bunch of fun.

wonderful shots here bud, these could easily be in a Car and Driver ad, love the b/w's.

Love #3! I swear I see the world in FE a lot... I really need to get a lens to capture it that way too.

#5 cracked me up... 1st thought... "Does this taillight make my butt look big?"
