Hiking into the past
Lens: DA 50-135 and DA 300 Camera: K-5 Photo Location: Hayward California ISO: 200 Shutter Speed: 1/200s Aperture: F5.8

I do love when my hikes show me a bit of what the landscape looked like before the housing boom here in California. Here are a few images from yesterday's travel into the past.

You've done this before, haven't you...

Super work, the first 5 especially had me going back over and over again to look at them.

The tones are beautiful and the images are wrapped in an intrinsic understated glory... one and three speak to me, so does the bulrush... well, they all do. Dice these are simply lovely. I would love to have a print of one and three. Wonderful!!

Great stuff - I particularly like the moody quality of the first two.

I've looked at these on my work screen and returned to have a better look. I really like the way you played with the light in the first three pictures!
