A photo of PIkes Peak, elevation 14,114' at the end of October last year. We are back to visit family and to view this beautiful area again.

Majestic looking peak there Bob what kind of PP did you use ? A bit of a vintage look here I like it.

Nice shot, Bob. I've been up that old guy a number of times - love the view despite the headache.

The image is soft Dave, I took it from about 20 miles and cropped it and edited in Picasa. I still like the feel of the shot though. thanks Bob

Terri won't go up there anymore, says it bothers here. I'm not sure if it is altitude or my driving up there is the reason.

Considering this, I think the image turned out quite well, honestly. I think you did a really good job.

that's a beautiful ride up there, a bit long and sometimes it rains and clouds up so bad you can't see anything. So you buy donuts for comfort food for the return trip.

Those donuts never made the return trip. Altitude makes you hungry.

You're right Susan, when we were in Florida we visited their highest point in the state, Britton Hill 345' above sea level, I have been hungry ever since then.
