Wow, so vibrant! My fav is the wild rose. What settings do you have? Contrast saturation?

All lovely flowers, but the one with the 2 hoverflies is extra-good, I love it!

The B&W and Color images are just great. I really like the first one with the house and chair in the background. Really sets up a feeling for me.

Thank you for the great comment Scoot! For the rose I set the camera at ISO 400, 0 ev, f/5.6, as I shot in RAW I used an Aperture3 preset for the pp and then bumped the contrast and added a touch of definition to the petals. Glad you liked it!

Thanks Bob... you are right.... I love this time of year with all the new vibrant colours. There is beauty everywhere, my friend, as your rambling ways and photos also show!

Ahh, thanks so much luftfluss. I am glad I included that even though the hoverflies are not in perfect focus. Something about the subtle textures of the poppy's petals and the colour really made that one special for me.

You must be further North than us riff? It seems one day there is nothing and suddenly overnight everything explodes with colour. Thanks always for having a look and commenting

Den, I am so happy you mentioned the first one... it is my favourite and I wondered if it worked for anyone else. Thanks so much for commenting!

Really enjoyed the B&W shots. Something different. The whole set just screams early summer. Beautiful colors on the others.

Wonderful, as always. I'm especially taken with the B&W shots - the conversion seems to accent their dimensionality - i.e. it looks like you could reach into the screen and touch 'em.

Beautiful!!

Did you add the water drops with a spray or were they from nature?

How did you add the black border?

Thanks

The water droplets were either morning dew or just after the rain. The border is an option my post processing program offers when I export my images to share here. Thank you so much for having a look and commenting!
