Juggling Jim of Kings Lynn
Lens: Pentax-M 50mm F1.7 Camera: ME Super Photo Location: Kings Lynn, Norfolk, England ISO: 200
Posted By: Trojan_Llama, 06-13-2012, 01:15 PM

Just adventuring into Fujifilm superior 200 35mm film. After scanning the print, I did digitally enhance levels and sharpening on Gimp (Ubuntu Linux) and may have overdone it? Jim is a fixture in this quiet English market town. Besides being a gentleman, he is a contender for best tramp (US English - bum?) in England. I think a hint of Elvis in there?

Using a vintage Pentax ME Super SLR with 50mm MF lens.

I knew Elvis wasn't dead. What a great portrait. Such an interesting face. You just know there is a story there.

Maybe a little oversharpening - part so fhis beard are a pixellated mess - but still a good shot. Do you have any more pics of Juggling Jim?

Luftfluss - yeah I thought that I had hit the sharpening too hard, thanks.

Two earlier photos taken with Pentax K110D dslr (but I think an old Pentax-M lens):

Thanks all for comments.
