Finished a 9 day walk through scotland about a month ago, we had a fantastic trip with great weather (or how about 10 days walking with only a half day of rain, In scotland!)
We consumed some fine whiskeys and some of the best beers in the world
If you would like to see the complete set on flickr here is the link _IGP2196 | Flickr - Photo Sharing!

Ofcause I had to take my obligatory dubble decker photo when in london

Samyand 8mm

And visit a market

Da 35 macro ltd

Lowlands just north of Glasgow

Glengoyne Destillery

Panorama over Loch Lomond just in the crack between the lowlands and the highlands

The missus trying to decide what whisky from Glengoyne we should try. 10 or 12 yo?

Samyand 8mm

Just your average tree

Not your average tree, atleast if you are from north of sweden!

Samyang 8mm

Narrow passes

My favorite picture from the trip, the one I look at I just long to go back there. The one that sends goosebumps down my back. There was something about that morning.

Railroad bridge

Doing the trip in 9 days instead of 6 or 7 as most where lets you enjoy every day

Evidence that the weather could turn on you at any moment

Another panorama with the DA35 macro ltd

These are a wonderful set! I love them all. I have always wanted to visit Scotland, but fear I'll never get there. I appreciate the variety in your shots and the splendid natural beauty on display. Well done!!!

And congrats on the weather!

You brought back a lot of memories of our time in Scotland. So glad the weather cooperated. This is a wonderful set of photos and really shows off the area so well. I like all of them. Thanks for sharing.

These were great! We lived in Scotland for two years and have been to some of the same places shown in your photos. Even the same trail, I believe, along Loch Lomond. Good memories!

I'm curious as to how you did the first shot. It looks like HDR... if so, did you combine some pictures taken as the bus moved, or is it from a single RAW?

Some cracking shots in this post.

The fisheye POV is perhaps an acquired taste and maybe over represented here. That said, the picture of the double decker is awesome. Love it. Also love the panaroma with the 35.

My main argument would be with your assessment of Scottish beer. In the opinion of this Sassenach, Scottish beer is mank!

I don't think I had a bad beer while in Scotland. When I find my notes I can even tell you what they were.

Reason that i use the samyang 8 mm is dubble, it views the world as I see it. And the next step for me is the da 35macro.
