My new toy came in the mail today
Posted By: xs400, 01-22-2008, 07:38 PM

The new toy I got is a new Pentax AF-360FGZ flash. Sorry, I know you were probably hoping my new toy was a K20D. Anyway, here's a pic of the flash on my K100D with the DA 16-45. Below that is the first picture I got using the flash. I know it's not a very good picture, but when you just get home after work, it's raining outside, and you get something like this in the mail, it's easy to take a bunch of crappy pictures in the living room. After the excitement wears off, I'll try to take some better shots.

Tran,

I like the way you think. Earlier today I ordered a wireless trigger on ebay from Gadget Infinity. Off-camera shooting is less than a week away!!

Nice one! Maybe one of these days I'll talk myself into buying a flash. Let's see the photos.

I can't play the piano. So I'll trade the piano for Liv Tyler.

Haven't you guys learned anything? Chicks love musicians! I use the piano to get chicks. Works every time.

congrats on the new toy... agreed, it bites when you get new gear and it's crappy outside...
always have to take a couple silly pics inside with new stuff - I think I fired off 10-15 pictures of my kitchen sink when I got the K110D last year. LOL

Man, the piano is impressive - in fact, I think it's the key to the whole image - I know, I know that was awful. I just hoped it would strike a chord with someone.

Okay, so it's puns you want!!

I did't expect to get any sharp comments like that, you might want to change your tune.
