Trying a B&W look
Lens: Spiratone 400mm Camera: Canon A1 Photo Location: Papoose Pond Me

Took my "Blast from the Past" shot and tried a different look.The Spiratone 400mm lens was a 6.3 and I bought it with a canon adapter for $50 for what seems an eon ago.----charliezap

This one adds to the feeling of the past and works very well IMHO. Nice work Charlie.

Today would be a perfect day for jumping in the water.Right now in the Boston area it's around 95 degs with dew points around 70.Tommorrow is going to be worse.Yikes.--charliezap

I really like the b/w here, Charlie! I also think it would work great with a "faded" sort of look, maybe it's called bleach bypass or something. Nice job!!

I agree with Dave. The colors and contrast and grain of the original provide an appropriate time frame for the photo. Just IMHO, of course.

The black & white conversion worked very well. However the swimsuits date the photograph into more recent times. Late seventies, early eighties?
