Going Home....
Camera: Fuji X10 Photo Location: Texas ISO: 400 Shutter Speed: 1/1000s Aperture: F9.5
Posted By: Rupert, 06-20-2012, 07:29 PM

On the road to my home, I picked up the little Toy Camera X10 and shot through the windshield to get a shot of the lovely clouds we had today.

I love clouds, there are so many kinds, and some are magnificent! If you have any you like, you are welcome to post them here...I love viewing clouds...mine or anyone elses !

Regards!

How often do you see squirrel-shaped clouds?

Thanks Bob...I love days with big fluffy clouds!

Luftfluss.....If I stare a long enough, they all look like Squirrels!

Susan ...I love a long country road when the sky is full of those big fluffy clouds. Sort of has a sedating effect.

Regards!

Good one Rupert. I dig the clouds too, for as long as I can remember. As a young child I lay on the grass and stared for hours (probably why I need glasses now) LOL. Saw a great face in one the other day but was without camera unfortunately. Don't get many days of great clouds here in So Cal. State of Washington has them all the time.

A nice, classical shot, Rupert. We've had some beautiful, puffy summer clouds the last several days, but my photography malaise continues and I can't get up the gumption to get the camera. So, I'm glad you're on the job.

Thanks Dave and Dave M .....thanks Den!...Sailor, those clouds came up from your coast, and I appreciate them!...snap out of it and get out the camera....snapping a few will get you on the move again and in the mood!

Guys, the shot I posted is nothing special, but I did like it since it is the "road home"...but it just didn't look quite right to me. Finally figured out that it was too cold looking for a hot Summer day, and added a warming filter. What do you think? Look more natural for a Summer day?
Best Regards!

Now you've made it look miserably, oppressively hot... kinda like the weather here in NJ.

I haven't seen any especially comely clouds lately, but a few weeks ago we had a pleasant break between thunderstorms.

Rupert, nice shot, I like the variety of clouds in it. A CPL would be your friend here, they tend to make sky shots a bit punchier.

Here's a storm rolling in, that I took awhile back.
