Misc Crows v Heron

Crows v Heron · 12:40 AM

The crows sure are big in Tokyo.
Was watching a heron in a park and it flew off into the tree tops, only to be chased off by these two rather large and angry crows.
Just some quick crops of the action.

Two on one:

A branch obscured some of the action.

Great captures. The crows here always harass the red tailed hawks, but the hawks basically ignore their futile attacks.

That pursuit shot is too cool. I've seen crows chase off any bird that gets in their territory... fierce little devils

Yeah, that's what I think happened.
I imagine the heron got a bit close for comfort.
