Thanks! Using the wide angle there was really no subject isolation, the tonemapping brought out the subjects in an otherwise flat image...

These look great, I like the illustrative quality that your PP brought to them.

Thanks! One of the things I like about these are the crisp clean shadow on the pavement of the performer, I think it really adds to the shot - the sun was directly overhead...

Thanks bob - I didn't get a chance to try any, the lines were sooooooo long! There were thousands of people there. Here is a picture of the biggest grill I have ever seen (18 wheeler converted into a portable grill):

The first and last shots are really cool. The colors are so vibrant - is there a mild HDR? You really timed the guy in the first shot perfectly!

Very cool shots JP. Love the angle on the dancers/crowd. Not sure about the PP, love it & hate it ! Gives almost a cartoonish look to the people (skin colours) but really works and looks great if that was the aim.

Thanks Kevin. I am the same way about the PP, couldn't seem to get the definition (or that definition/pop) of the dancer without those adjustments to the lighting which in return gave it the cartoon'ish looking skin tones, I am also not great at post...

Thanks Jerry. As for mild HDR (with software) I am not sure, I am really still a newb with [single shot] tonemapping software, these were done with HDR Effex Pro I think...
