Room for rent - satellite dish - not a VW - street lamp (?)
Lens: Quantaray 70-300 1:2 Macro Camera: K-x Photo Location: nearby field

Linked from my Photobucket, the scaling seems to make the images a little soft.

Last 2 pics were shot with the Raynox DCR-150.

I love the last two. I have no clue what the last one is but it is really, really beautiful. That beetle is so sharp and the colors are beautiful. Well done.

Thanks! It was pretty dim outside, we were between rainstroms. I wanted to get a droplet on a leaf, using my Quantaray 70-300 + Raynox CDR-150 combo. I was trying to take a shot hand-held, to see if I could get close enough with the tripod, but the wind kept blowing too much so I gave up. When I came inside I had one shot in focus, though drastically underexposed. I adjusted levels & saturation, and rotated the image.

When I got my DCR-150 5 or 6 years ago, it was about 1/2 the current price. Get crackin' with that 250!

Thanks Bob! It may not be a "real" macro lens, but it's good cheap fun!
