damn tough game without much protection, I've watched the game on TV, still don't completely understand it so I will stick with our football. Cricket is confusing too, I'll stick with baseball. Do you play basketball there?

Hi Bob, yes it is tough, and quite a lot of injuries. There are quite a lot of rules, but as you would have seen no forward passing are allowed, so the alternative they use is kicking high balls towards the opposition line, chasing it and try to win it back as it come down, I've watched Gridiron a few times, and don't get some of the rules either, but I like the physicality of the game, and also that the players have some protective gear. Basketball are slowly gaining ground over here, but not at a level that warrants games even televised. We have a game called netball, which is something similar, but only played by women
