Sky is much nicer in no 1 imho, although I like the slightly lighter water and reflection in no 2.

Definitely, no. 1, which is very well done, btw. The second one is too noisy and dramatic, and lacks the 3D feel of the first.

I'll be different and vote for #2. Although both are very nice, the sky is better in #1, but the buildings are glowing in the second and much brighter and the water is also much more interesting. If you have the postprocessing skills it be really nice to see the sky in #1 mixed with the buildings and water in #2.

The reflection of the clouds in the water in #1 was the difference for me.

I prefer the sky and composition of #1, but the color of #2. Either pic, I would be proud to have taken.

I like #2. Just overall like the warmth of the color and makes for an interesting shot.

Number 2 for me.
I like the colours better, especially the reflections on the water.
Both good though.

Thanks causey. I started prcoessing the 1st pic then later try out the 2nd one.
It's my mistake for not capturing enough shots for HDR. I got 0 ev and another 2 shots negative ev, after HDR not bright enough & when I pump up the brigthness, noise appeared.

Good idea to merge both thru' PP. Maybe I should try that though I'm not an expert.
