Once again a great shot! I actually saw my first kingfisher on my vacation in Greece a month ago, sadly I only had my 20mm on me, and it would have been quite hard to get close enough.

I've seen Kingfishers, but never one like that. That particular type sure has a body and beak that seem much over sized for it's body. Evolution makes for some strange looking animals.

Wow! You must get so excited when you're home and post processing these... If I ever saw a shot like that first one come off my camera I'd be over the moon. Just super super shooting. Most impressive... and I do feel kind of sorry for that little fish. If only I didn't see his eyes!
