A bird or two
Lens: DA 55-300 Camera: K-5 Photo Location: North Carolina
Posted By: slowpez, 07-01-2012, 09:18 AM

I have been taking a lot of bird photos through the window of our RV - it has just been too dang hot to be outside. We were lucky to have a stand of blackberries just outside and that brought in lots of birds.
#1 Indigo Bunting
#2. American Robin
#3. Bluebird
#4. Cedar Waxwing
#5. Song Sparrow I think

Hope you enjoy looking.

what a great variety of pretty birds you have there, really nice pics especially considering through a window. TFS. Bob

Great shots. I like the last one best, and I miss the Carolina pines - we lived in Fayetteville for 8 years.

The robin, bluebird & waxwing do it for me, especially the waxwing. Just great!

Thanks Bob. Not the best way to take photos but at least I had air conditioning.

We have a huge LongLeaf pine in our backyard that was estimated at 200 years of age. Lovely thing.

I really love the waxwings also. They were really digging into those berries. We did manage to grab a few for our cereal but then we felt guilty.

Thanks Cee Cee, not the best of shots but the birds are colorful and it gave me practice focusing.
