A landscape photo taken through a window in the New York-bound Amtrak Adirondack train. I'm not sure exactly where this was except that this was in upstate New York (perhaps the capture time, 3:11 PM, would offer some clues). This shot was post-processed in
the GIMP with slight cropping and fairly complex tone curve adjustment.
I know shooting through a window can greatly lower contrast, but I did my best with the curves adjustment. A fast-moving train also creates some significant challenges with avoiding motion blur, and I wanted to make sure there was enough depth of field, hence TAv.
