Canada Day Fireworks
Lens: DA*16-50 Camera: K5 Photo Location: Edmonton Alberta Canada ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 3s Aperture: F11

First attempt doing some fireworks photos done on Canada Day in Edmonton.

Also, one of my many weekend mistakes... brining the tripod, but forgetting the mounting plate. These shots ended up having the camera balanced on my tripod without the quick change plate and then setting it up for interval shooting. I just let it go for 10 minutes and picked through the scraps for the jems. These three ended up on my short list.

Very cool, looks like you managed to rescue what could've been a bad situation quite well!

well done, interval shooting also gives the advantage of a better chance at catching the best effect from the fireworks, all 3 are great but the offset composition on 3 really makes it
