Thanks, it's a rebadge of the Tamron 70-300 AF LD Macro 1:2.

Agree'd with eaglem, been too busy being amazed at the sharpness, colors, and oof that I wasn't able to observe the picture itself, and the pictures are wonderful by the way. Great captures.

Crisp and clear, great macros, do you use a ring-flash for your lighting?

Thanks, the lens is decently sharp for what it is. As long as you get good focus, careful PPing can bring out good details IMO.

Thanks, Bob. No flash, I'd say about 90% of my macros/close-ups are solely available light.

Wonderful series. If I absolutely had to pick a favorite of these incredibly detailed and sharp photos I would have to pick 1, 2, and 5. Cripes, there isn't anything wrong with 3 and 4 either so I will have to pick them too.

Thanks!

It's good news to have the dragons & damsels zipping around. They are an indicator of overall environmental health, and I'm less then 1/2 mile from the Musconetcong River. Also, they eat other bugs.
