Landscape Down by the railway tracks

They're weeds, I guess, but I always thought they were beautiful. Does anyone know what they're called?

Not sure what they are but the grasses in the lower two thirds is gorgeous. Have you tried cropping the top third off? Anyhow, it looks like waves.

I think the common name is foxtails. They are lovely. Very nice image showing the motion of the foxtail.

I just this minute got a reply from my query to the Native Plant Society of Saskatchewan. They identify the grass as foxtail barley (Hordeum jubatum). The yellow flower is a member of the mustard family. I sent them a clearer picture so hopefully I'll have a ID on that one as well.
