Waxwing "wax"berries !!
Lens: DA*300/4 Camera: K7 ISO: 200 Shutter Speed: 1/1500s Aperture: F5

A tasteful feed for the hungry Cedar Waxwings: wild strawberries in plentiful quantities along the road leading to my favorite birding/wildlife spot.
This is amazing how they can find the biggest fruits !
Enjoy !

Thank you, Tom.

They are very approachable too, as you well know.
They make great subjects!

Thank you Tess(fully).

I think it is quite natural for us to become attracted to those summery treats but, as good and tasty as they are, I have made it my "duty" to leave them treats alone for the wildlife.

I admit having indulged quite regularly in the past though!

Thank you slowpez ...

They look healthy alright.
