Symphony + Fireworks
Lens: DA 15 Ltd Camera: K-5 ISO: 100

After living in the SF area for so many years, we finally decided to see the SF Symphony live performance + Firework show they have every year. Most of the people didn't seem to care that much about the concert and were just waiting for the firework show. The theme this year for the symphony was the Olympics and movies. So there were fair amount of familiar tunes. When the firework started, the first song they played was Star Wars' intro, then a couple other songs that I can't remember the names of. The firework of course is synchronized to the tempo of the music. Overall, a pleasant experience except trying to get out of the place after the show -- stuck in the parking lot for probably an hour.

This is the second time I have attempted to take firework shots. The results are better than the first time but I think I have plans on how to improve it next time. Hope you enjoy it!

These look great. What aperture and shutter speeds did you use?

These look very good to me. I often think that I prefer to look at photos of fireworks than to view them in person.

Haha, that's how I feel most of the time. The travel + wait time can pretty much take the whole day...
