Hey guys it seem obligatory to post some images if you buy a new K10D so here goes.

All images taken with K10D and Tamron XR DiII 18-200mm SR on

1. 1/180 f/5.6 68mm ISO100 no flash

2. 1/60 f/5.6 68mm ISO100 no flash

3. 1/45 f/4.0 18mm ISO100 no flash

I like the vibrant colors! I may upgrade to a K10 when others start shedding them on their way to the K20!

Nice shots indeed. I like the first two and #1 is my favorite ! Your obligations are complete - next step is to take more pictures / post , repeat as necessary

That's a great start! By leaving just a little bit of sky above the leaf in no. 1 you have created a very strong image!

Hey,

Thanks for all the comments guys. Very useful. I am starting to get excited about my new K10D. I'm not that excited about the weather here. It was -2 when i took the photos of the anchors.

I'm finding the K10D considerably different from the *istDS that I used before. I really need to get out and take loads of shots with it so I can get used to it. I'm a tad concerned with the autofocus/sharpness of focus on the K10. I'm halfway through a small experiment, the results of which I'll post soon for your opinions.
