You Better Be Fast!
Camera: Fuji X10 Photo Location: Texas ISO: 800 Shutter Speed: 1/45s Aperture: F2.4

I looked out my office window last night and saw Mama Raccoon and her two babies feeding on the dry dog food I had set out for them. Grabbed the little Toy Camera, opened the door facing them, and before I could adjust range and focus, they were gone! This one baby must have been extra hungry or extra brave, he just hung in there and took advantage of not having to share!

Cute little robbers! They come every night to rob what they can and get some fresh water. Otis says they look like little baby bears?

Regards!

Good shot. Be careful of those guys. When I lived in the city I had a mama get in my attic and she had 3 little ones there. As they grew it sounded like they were having a party every night. They even switched the light off and on pulling on the string. I had to get animal control to trap them and get them out.

I love racoons. You must really enjoy watching them out your back window. We have one here that robs the bird feeder at night. They are very brave critters. Thanks for sharing... try and get a shot of the whole family. I would love to see it!

Cute critter Rupert. As with any wild animal they can definitely be a pain but that doesn't ruin their appeal in the least. I still enjoy seeing any type of wild animal in the wild so thanks for posting this. Hope Otis doesn't mind not being the center of attention now and again.
