Highschool Wrestling- Wakefield vs. Broughton

Pentax K100D w/ 70-200mm f2.8 and AF360. 1/180s f2.8 ISO800. Flash in P-TTL. Monopod used on most. Slight Noise Ninja applied

Those are GREAT! There's someone on DPR with a D80 and D200 and the same Sigma 70-200mm (except his has HSM) shooting HS sports and your pictures are soooo much better. Just goes to show that the photographer is usually more important the equipment.

I enjoy seeing your pictures taken with "my" Sigma

When I was doing photography back in HS, all I had was an old Olympus OMsomething an a 50mm prime lens (probably f/2.0)..

Only critique is to watch the white balance a bit, I know it can be tricky in mixed lighting situations (your flash vs. the awful gym lighting) You do shoot RAW, right?

awesome, finally some non motion blurred sports shots!

they are very sharp.

one open suggestion, have you tried playing with the colour sliders and saturating only the red/magenta, that way you can get rid of the overly red faces some of the wrestlers have.

pain will make you turn a little red. LOL but I think it is from the flash bouncing off the maroon mat. These are very good Tyler--keep the good work.
