Some Unusual Fireworks Shots
Lens: Tamron 17-50 Camera: K-5 Photo Location: Alpharetta, GA ISO: 100 Aperture: F9.5

I used bulb setting and some camera movement on the tripod for these shots.

These are a great take on the fireworks shot. I assumed you just moved the camera around by hand with a low shutter speed? Nice idea, I like it.

Thanks! Yeah, basically swiveled the camera while holding the shutter open with a cable release. I had a great spot directly under the fireworks- was hit by debris a few times, lol.

Just when I thought I was tired of seeing firework shots (including my own) you had to go and post these. Brilliant and a lot of fun to see. Thanks for sharing them.

Thank you! I only wish I'd done more this way than I did. The show only lasted about 10 minutes, and I had to grab what I could quickly.
