More Blooms Overnight
Lens: Tamron 90 2.8 macro Camera: k-5 Photo Location: garden and woods
Posted By: tessfully, 07-07-2012, 09:59 AM

We finally had a bit of rain overnight that seemed to wake up my lilies. Here they are, along with a hosta bloom and bee and a few large sun flowers as well as my little caterpillar (again).

Orange

Striped

Yellow

Pink

Hosta

the always irresistible sun flowers

My caterpillar cropped

and here is one from this morning for context... can you see him? I think the spider is stalking him.

Another excellent series Tess. The colors are so vibrant and just pop right out at ya. You've got that lens working well.

Such a colorful series. I really like the 4th shot, the perspective is excellent and the gentle tones are dreamy.

Well done with the post-processing Tess.
1-4, 6 and the last one are all such works of art. Thanks for sharing.

Another vibrant beautiful series of flowers. Love all of them. Those day lilies are really standouts. Another flower that looks easy to photograph but really isn't.

Very beautiful series. My favorite is the overlapping sunflowers. But they are all lovely.

Thanks so much luftfluss... that is exactly the one I liked too. I had taken many shots of those pink lilies and all of them looked flat and uninteresting, until that one. I always appreciate your comments!!

Thanks so much Susan... yes, it seems on most of my shots the wrong petal, or the stamen, or one of those seed pods is out of focus and that throws the whole image off. I am very happy you liked these!

Thanks Dice. I am so happy to read your comments... I think that one is most interesting to look at. I think I'll print it for my scrap book!
